An image-based campaign developed as my capstone project, exploring sexual assault and harassment through gallows humour. The work presents a fictional protective garment made from barbed wire and marketed as a “cute” solution for women’s safety. By framing the product as desirable, the campaign interrogates why women are expected to protect themselves rather than confronting the societal systems that enable violence. The garment was physically constructed using real barbed wire and photographed as part of the campaign. The project was awarded a final mark of 98%.
